GEM (Gem Health), creator engine

Ten creators, one Bite at a time

Ten creators, seven videos each a week, built around the Daily, Energy, Calm and Sleep Bites. A real-food routine on camera, not a pitch.

Sleep Bite, Chocolate Cherry, on my nightstand

A creator shows the GEM Sleep Bite - Chocolate Cherry beside a glass of water and says: Sleep support in one simple bite. Then the evening routine, nothing about results.

Track record

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program and the paid ad engine alongside it. The playbook here is the same: a small roster, a hook library, one variable per test, losers killed early. The category is different: real-food vitamin Bites. I have not run this category, so the claims sheet and your team's review come first.

Why now

  • 1006

    Reviews on The GEM Bite

The GEM Bite carries a rating of 5 across 1006 reviews. Creators start with proof that people already talk about the product.

    Published
  • 30 million+

    Bites enjoyed

GEM's own line is 30 million+ Bites enjoyed. A creator can say it as GEM's line and show one Bite in hand.

    Published
  • Give 30%, Get $40

    A referral offer already exists

The offer Give 30%, Get $40 is on GEM. It gives creators and their audiences a simple reason to try a Bite. Whether creators may share it is a question for your team.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1 (Proposed). The simulator starts at $5.74, so the first month is about closing that gap in the open, not hiding it.

  2. Seven videos a week, one variable per test

Each creator posts seven videos a week (Proposed). Change the hook or the Bite or the setting, never two at once. Losers killed early.

  3. Pay for the work, bonus for the breakout

The fee covers production. A $50 flat bonus past 100,000 views, one per creator per month, rewards a breakout without paying for volume twice.

  4. The claims sheet is the brief

Creators quote three literal GEM lines and nothing else. A strong video that breaks the sheet earns no bonus and comes down.

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. PriyaMon 8:30 AM

This week's brief: GEM Sleep Bite - Chocolate Cherry. Hook one is the wind-down routine. Seven videos each, one variable per test. Use only the lines on the claims sheet.

  2. JoTue 10:15 AM

Can I say the Sleep Bite fixes my sleep? My followers keep asking what it does for me.

No. Say: Sleep support in one simple bite. Then show your routine. Nothing about results, yours included.

  3. Weekly botAppMon 9:00 AM

Weekly report: seven videos per creator live. Hook two leads on cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target. Two losers killed. Next test: same hook, new setting.

  4. PriyaWed 2:40 PM

Draft sent back: the caption promises results for skin. Swap it for a routine line from the claims sheet and re-upload. The video itself is great, keep the take.

  5. Win botAppThu 4:05 PM

A Daily Bite video passed 100,000 views on organic reach. The $50 flat bonus is queued, one per creator per month. Flagged for the first paid test.

  6. PriyaFri 11:00 AM

Check before the weekend: every live video has one claims-sheet line, no health outcome, and the Bite named as it appears on the pouch. Reply done when yours is clean.

Done, all clean on my side.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Morning routine

    Brief 01

    Morning routine

“The one thing I never skip in my morning routine.”

Handheld at the kitchen counter, one take. Open the Daily Bite pouch, eat one Bite, read the ingredient line to camera.

  2. Desk-day Bite

    Brief 02

    Desk-day Bite

“My mid-afternoon routine, with a Chocolate Sea Salt Bite.”

Desk shot in natural light. Show the Energy Bite, take a bite, say the flavor out loud and one line from the claims sheet.

  3. Taste test

    Brief 03

    Taste test

“Honest taste test: the Calm Bite in Banana Cinnamon.”

Close-up, one Bite, one reaction. Describe texture and flavor only. No result talk, stay on taste.

  4. Wind-down routine

    Brief 04

    Wind-down routine

“My wind-down routine, with a Chocolate Cherry Bite.”

Evening, lamp light, handheld. Show the routine, then the Sleep Bite, then say: Sleep support in one simple bite.

  5. Lineup walk-through

    Brief 05

    Lineup walk-through

“Four Bites, one sample pack. Let me show you each.”

Lay out the sample pack, hold each Bite up, one line per Bite: Daily, Energy, Calm, Sleep. Keep it short.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “A delicious, daily multivitamin Bite made from real food for superior absorption.”, “Sleep support in one simple bite.”, “One delicious, real-food Bite for holistic energy with underlying metabolic support.”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Niche search

Search by routine: morning, desk-day, wind-down, kitchen-counter food content. Build a long list of creators who already film a daily habit, then run the five filters.

  • Instagram first

GEM already has an Instagram presence. Start where it is, with creators whose feed shows a daily routine, not a one-off haul.

  • Existing fans

The 1006 reviews on The GEM Bite point to people who already talk about it. I'd ask your team to share the best opted-in names.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site. There is a Wholesale link and the offer Give 30%, Get $40, so a referral path exists but no creator program.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Routine on camera

Their feed already shows a daily routine we can slot a Bite into.

  2. 2Reads the sheet

Comfortable saying only the claims-sheet lines and nothing about results.

  3. 3Seven a week

Can post seven videos a week without quality collapsing by week two.

  4. 4Category fit

No history of before-and-after posts or medical advice. Supplements get a stricter line.

  5. 5Real audience

Comments read like real people, not giveaway loops or bought engagement.

Part 7 of 15

Who we pick

  • Morning-routine creator

Films the same counter, same hour. A Bite is a natural step in a routine she already shows.

    Likely product: GEM Daily Bite

  • Desk-day worker

Remote or office, snacks on camera, talks through the workday. Fits a mid-afternoon moment.

Likely product: GEM Energy Bite - Chocolate Sea Salt

  • Slow-evening creator

Tea, book, soft light. Content is about the pace of the evening, not outcomes.

Likely product: GEM Calm Bite - Banana Cinnamon

  • Nightstand routine creator

Shows the full evening wind-down, step by step, in one calm take.

Likely product: GEM Sleep Bite - Chocolate Cherry

  • Flavor reviewer

Rates snacks honestly on taste and texture. Credible because she says what she doesn't like.

Likely product: GEM Daily Bite - Cacao

  • Unboxing and lineup creator

Opens packages, lines up every item, explains each one in a sentence.

    Likely product: GEM Sample Pack

Left off, every time

Always left out: creators who promise health outcomes, post before-and-after content or give medical advice, compare GEM to a drug, or aim supplement content at minors. Giveaway-loop accounts too. Supplements are held to a stricter line than snacks.

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Real Food Vitamin Subscription”

Opening line or caption, as GEM's own tagline.

  • “30 million+ Bites enjoyed”

End card or caption, said as GEM's own line.

    Sleep Bite wind-down videos.

  • “One delicious, real-food Bite for holistic energy with underlying metabolic support.”

    Energy Bite desk-day videos.

  • “100% fluff-free—made entirely from real-food, nutrient dense ingredients.”

    Ingredient-label and pantry videos.

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Works like a GLP-1 medication

A drug comparison. The site only mentions oats and beta-glucan for GLP-1 support.

  • Fixes your sleep for good

An outcome promise. GEM's wording is sleep support only.

  • Replaces your doctor's advice or medication

Medical advice. Never allowed from a creator.

  • Guaranteed clearer skin in a few weeks

A guaranteed outcome and a timeline GEM does not give.

  • Better than other multivitamins

A comparison with no source behind it.

  • I lost weight on GEM

A personal weight outcome. Nothing on the site supports it.

  • Safe for kids and pregnancy

No source. A safety claim needs GEM's own wording.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Free shipping on orders over $35

The site also shows Free shipping over $50. Confirm the current threshold before creators say it.

  • Save 15% on every order

The site also shows Save 20% on every order. Confirm which subscription discount is current.

  • Give 30%, Get $40

Confirm whether creators may share this offer, and who it is for.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: newer creators with a real routine feed, paid to test one Bite and one hook at a time.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: proven weekly posters who own one Bite line and turn a winning hook into variants.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: creators whose routine content already travels, trusted with the Daily Bite and the sample pack.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month: the $50 flat, for whichever video passes 100,000 views first.
  • The bonus is per video: a single video must pass 100,000 views. Views from different videos are never added.
  • Organic views only: paid boosts and ad spend on a video never count toward 100,000.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule, even if it passes 100,000 views.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

Read it as: ten creators, 303 videos a month, 1.8M views, $10,050, so $5.74 per 1,000 views against $1.00. Target is reached only if 4.2% go viral or the median video hits 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Part 14 of 15

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Organic first

Every video posts organically on the creator's account. Nothing is boosted until it has a clean claims check and a view count.

  2. Pick the winners

A video past 100,000 views on organic reach, or a hook that beats the median two weeks running, goes on the shortlist.

  3. Test in paid

Winners get usage rights agreed in writing, then run as ads with one variable changed: hook, Bite or setting. Never two.

  4. Scale or kill

Judge each against the $1 cost per 1,000 views target. Winners get more spend and new cuts, losers are killed early.

From the video to the checkout

  • Checkout: point to Get my GEM, with Delivered every 28 days, cancel anytime as the only subscription line.
  • Sample pack: link the GEM Sample Pack at $38.99 as a first look at every Bite.
  • Shipping line: use Free shipping on orders over $35 only after your team confirms the threshold.
  • Wholesale: the site has a Wholesale link, so any shelf-facing cut goes there only if GEM agrees.
  • No retailer list was collected, so no video names a store.

Part 15 of 15

Category rules

Supplement rules for GEM creators

GEM sells vitamin Bites, so every creator video sits in the supplement category. These six rules apply to every video, every band, every format.

  • GEM's wording only

Health lines come from the claims sheet and are said as GEM's own wording. No paraphrase that adds an outcome, no stronger verb.

  • No outcome promises

Never promise sleep, energy, skin, weight or digestion results. Say what the Bite is, show your routine and stop there.

  • No drug talk

GLP-1 appears on the site as oats and beta-glucan support. Never compare a Bite to a medication or say it replaces one.

  • Disclose every paid post

Every paid post carries a clear partnership label in the first line, not hidden below the fold or buried in hashtags.

  • Your routine, not a story of illness

A personal routine is fine. Stories about diagnoses or recovery belong nowhere, and customer reviews are not for borrowing.

  • Check before posting

Every draft goes through #claims-check first. A video that breaks a rule earns no bonus, even past 100,000 views, and comes down.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
